* Your pairing of choice
* Your surefire, bulletproof kinks
* Your most surprising, dirty little secret kinks
* Who tops/bottoms
* Squicks
* Cliches/tropes common in your fandom that just don't do it for you
* Your ultimate/ideal fic
Stargate AtlantisPairing of choice: Uh... can I just say a tie between Sheppard/Lorne and Sheppard/Mitchell? Because seriously, I'm a bit torn here. I suppose if it came down to just one, I'd go with Sheppard/Lorne. Or choose the easy way out and say OT3.
Bulletproof kinks: Flyboys flying and/or kicking ass. Connections to Ancient tech, especially jumpers and Atlantis. Wacky hijinks due to mental bonds/alien tech/truth drugs. Giving and receiving orders all military-like. Working around that entire "completely unprofessional relationship" thing in their professional relationship. The words, "I trust you," somehow emerging from John Sheppard's mouth.
Surprising kinks: Simulated non-con and/or dubcon. Uh... robots? *hides*
Topping/bottoming: John bottoms... mostly. At least with these pairings.
Squicks: Mpreg outside of crack. Gunkink. More than very light SM (bondage is generally okay, though). Humiliation.
Cliches or tropes that don't do it for me: John being incapable of doing the admin part of his job. The boys being each other's One True Love. Conversely, settling for 'second best'. Excessive romantic love in general - I want them to be friends first and foremost. Also, whining about lemons.
My ideal fic: Okay, that's kind of hard to say. On the one hand, I want to say some kind of post-Season 5 fic where John doesn't end up alone. John and Evan have been dancing along the line between friends and something more for a long while now. Now, with all his friends pairing off and doing their own things, John is feeling lonelier than ever, and after happening to run into Evan in a bar in SF he throws caution to the wind and ends up in bed with him. Cue some awkwardness the next morning, eventually followed by a decision to stay together. Possibly some kind of disclosure thing going on, too, because I'm a sucker for that.
On the other hand, I'm an even bigger sucker for robots and transhumanism. So. First, the repli-Lorne in the rebel Asuran city-ship wasn't a fake Lorne but an actual Lorne. Well, as actual as any of them were. You know what I mean. Anyways, by some contrivance the team + Lorne + Elizabeth + whoever else end up leading repli-Atlantis. Of course, they can't go home, so John and Evan end up together. Cue galactic hijinks as they try to defeat the Asurans, the Wraith, and dodge the Tau'ri while they're at it. This may or may not involve many copies of them running in parallel. And possibly staging orgies.
